Due to the floods of 20th of February happened in Funchal, we are adapting the public transport service to the network street conditions. The service is unavoidably restricted in some streets, while the accessibility checks are carried out in some others. Currently, (2.30 p.m. of 23rd of February), Horários do Funchal is implementing the following service:

The connection between departure and arrival locations: there is a special connection service linking Casino roundabout and Santa Luzia garden that follows this path: Av. Infante, Av. Luis de Camões, Hospital, Cota 40, Cruz Vermelha e Jardim de Sta. Luzia.

Line 01:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path until arriving at the terminus located in Piornais; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 3:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 4:Performs the normal path.

Line 8:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path until arriving at the terminus located in Sta. Quitéria; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 9:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path until arriving at Courelas; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 10A:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path until arriving at Courelas; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction, passing through C.º de Sto. António, Rua das Maravilhas, Hospital, going then straight on until reaching the final destination in Casino roundabout.

Line 11:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and follows through Av. Luís Camões, Lev. do Cavalo, Cº de Stº António, Rua do Ribeirinho, Cemitério, Rampa until arriving at Campo do Marítimo’s field were the busses turn back to perform the downhill path; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction, passing through C.º de Sto. António, Rua das Maravilhas, Hospital, going then straight on until reaching the final destination in Casino roundabout.

Line 12:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path until arriving at Courelas; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 13:Departs from the bus stop near Sta. Luzia garden, and follows through Rua do Til, Rua Cidade de Cabo, Deão, Est. Dr. João Abel de Freitas, until arriving at the crossroads of Encontro; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction, passing through Rua 5 de Outubro, till Opel.

Line 14:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path until Qta. D. Leonor; then, the busses will follow Ribeira Grande bridge, Rua Antero Quental, Cº das Bróteas and Biblioteca (Library);Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction, passing through Cº de St. António, Rua das Maravilhas, Hospital, till the roundabout near the casino.

Line 15:Departs from the bus stop near Sta. Luzia garden, and follows through Rua do Til, Rua Cidade de Cabo, Deão, Est. Dr. João Abel de Freitas, Muro da Coelha, Penteada (the busses don’t turn right to the market), then goes straight on until Rot. dos Álamos and Largo de Santana; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction, passing through Rua 5 de Outubro, till Opel.

Line 16A:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path until arriving at Pinheiro das Voltas and Stª Rita; this line terminus is located at Largo do Papagaio Verde (the busses don’t go to Cova do Til); Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 21:Departs from the bus stop near Sta. Luzia garden, and follows through Rua do Til, Est. dos Marmeleiros, Largo da Fonte, until arriving at Monte Verde; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction, passing through Rua 5 de Outubro, till Opel.

Line 23:Departs from the bus stop near Sta. Luzia garden, and follows through Rua do Til, Pedreira, Est. Livramento until arriving at Rampa de Santana crossroad where the terminus is located; Downhill: The return path is the same but in the opposite direction.

Line 24:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path until arriving at Pizo; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 25:Departs from the bus stop near Sta. Luzia garden, and follows through Rua do Til, Rua Lev. Stª Luzia, until arriving at Qtª dos Reis; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction, passing through Rua 5 de Outubro, till Opel.

Line 30:Departs from Av. Santiago Menorroundabout, and follows through C. Carvalhal, Cº do Palheiro, Est. Visconde Cacongo, Bom Sucesso, Cº das Voltas, until arriving at Largo do Miranda; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 31:Departs from Av. Santiago Menorroundabout, and follows through Est. Conde Carvalhal, Cº do Palheiro, and here returns to the normal path until arriving at Jardim Botânico (Botanic Garden); Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 34:Departs from Av. Santiago Menorroundabout, and follows through Est Est. Conde Carvalhal, Rua da Pedra Sina until arriving at Canto do Muro; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 36:Departs from Av. Santiago Menorroundabout, and follows through Est. Conde Carvalhal, Rua Pedra Fina, Rua do Faial, Est. Visconde Cacongo, Est. da Boa Nova until arriving at Lombo da Quinta; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 38:Departs from Av. Santiago Menorroundabout, and follows the normal path until arriving at Cancela; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 40:Departs from Av. Santiago Menorroundabout, and follows through Rua dos Louros, Lazareto, Qtª da Rocha until arriving at this line terminus located near S. Gonçalo church; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 42:Departs from the bus stop near Sta. Luzia garden, and follows through Rua do Til, Rua Cidade de Cabo, Rua D. João, Est. Dr. João Abel de Freitas, São Roque until arriving at Alegria; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction, passing through Rua 5 de Outubro, till Opel.

Line 44:Exit the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path until arriving at Nazaré; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 45:Starts in the roundabout, near the Casino, and performs the normal path until arriving at Nazaré; Downhill: take the path that go to the opposite direction.

Line 48 Monte/Nazaré: Departs from Monte ( M. green), and follows through Est, Marmeleiros, I. C. Maria, Rua Padre M. Casagrande, Viveiros, Rampa do Muro da Coelha, Álamos Igreja S.to António, Romeiras, P. Barcelos, S. Martinho, Virtudes, Hospital, Est. Monumental e Nazaré.

The return is the same but in the opposite direction

Line 50 Lombo da Quinta/ Santo Amaro, Departs from Lombo da Quinta and goes through Boa Nova; then, the busses enter the highway leaving it only at Viveiros; afterwards, the busses go downhill untill Cruz Vermelha, where they get back to the normal path.

Line 50 Santo Amaro/Lombo da Quinta,Departs from Santo Amaro and go through the normal path until Cruz Vermelha, then the busses go in front of Santa Luzia garden, going straight on through Til, rua Cidade do Cabo Deão and Viveiros, then entering in the highway, only leaving it at Boa Nova, where the busses lead to Lombo da Quinta.

All the remaining lines are currently cancelled until further developments.

2 - Interurban Service

a) Santana Network

All the lines in this network are operating as they should and with their normal schedule, departing and arriving at Av. Santiago Menor roundabout;

b) Curral das Freitas network

This service is currently suspended while accessibility checks are carried out.

c) Camacha network

Line number 129 is operating in the following path: Camacha Shopping, Largo da Achada, Nogueira, Moinhos, Azenha, Caniço (center), Cancela, Est. Conde Carvalhal, Av. Santiago Menor (roundabout).

All the remaining lines are currently cancelled until further developments.
